INTERNET BANKING SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

Sterling Internet Banking supports Netscape Navigator 3.04 and higher, and Microsoft Explorer 4.01 and higher. The browser must support SSL encryption. Sterling National Bank will supply you with a 128-bit encrypted browser free, if you do not currently have one. You can also download a 128-bit encrypted browser from the internet immediately.

WINDOWS

  • Windows 95 or higher
  • 486 IBM - compatible computer
  • 486 or higher processor
  • 16 MB minimum (32 MB recommended) of random access memory (RAM)
  • 20 MB or free hard drive space
  • A modem (28.8 kbps or higher, 56 kbps recommended)
  • Internet Access through an Internet Service Provider
  • A printer (optional)
  • A browser that supports 128-bit encryption and cookies enabled, such as Netscape Navigator 3.04 or 4.05 or Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.01
  • Internet Service problems will be handled by your Internet service provider

MACINTOSH

  • System 7.5.5 or higher 32 MB of available random access memory (RAM) 16 MB or higher of hard drive space
  • A modem (28.8 kbps or higher, 56 kbps recommended)
  • A printer (optional)
  • A browser that supports 128-bit encryption and cookies enabled, such as Netscape Navigator 3.04 or 4.05 or Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.01
  • Internet Service problems will be handled by your Internet service provider
